biography

Soprano Gina Moscato is a native of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. She is currently going into her second season as the Soprano Resident Artist with Tri-Cities Opera. During her first season, she performed Suor Dolcina in Puccini's Suor Angelica, covered Bea in Heggie's Three Decembers, and performed Josephine in Gilbert & Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore. In the 2019/2020 season, Gina is excited to make more role debuts, including the title role in a World Premiere. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Susquehanna University, and her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Binghamton University. In July, Gina will be a fellow at the CoOPERAtive program in Princeton, New Jersey, where she will work with world renowned voice teachers, various conductors and dramatic coaches. Gina currently studies voice with Laura Brooks Rice.
